Connecting South Sudan is an annual Town-Hall Meeting hosted by the National Communication Authority (NCA) with the aim of fostering collaboration among stakeholders and consumers to strengthen the ICT ecosystem in South Sudan. The overarching goal is to make South Sudan more accessible, affordable, connected, and digitally secure. This event serves as a vital platform for communication and interaction between ICT regulatory institutions, service providers, and the general public. It also offers a comprehensive update on the performance of the ICT sector over the past year.
 

The 4th Town-Hall

The fourth edition of this event will be conducted under the theme of “Leveraging Connectivity for Development and Transformation.” This theme reflects the central focus of the event, which is to delve into the advantages of connectivity and its crucial role in the development of South Sudan. By bringing together key stakeholders from the telecommunications, media, and other significant sectors, the annual event aims to address current advancements and identify areas that can be improved upon to drive progress in the future.
 
The theme of “Leveraging Connectivity for Development and Transformation” underscores the recognition that connectivity, including internet access, mobile networks, and information and communication technologies (ICTs), can serve as powerful catalysts for development and transformative change. By exploring the benefits and potential of connectivity, the event seeks to unlock opportunities for economic growth, social empowerment, and overall advancement in South Sudan.
 
The 4th Edition of the Connecting South Sudan is scheduled to happen on the 14th to the 16th March 2024 in Juba, South Sudan.
